New Lunch Time Treat
Posted by
Lun@tic
Living up the "Hill" really doesnt help when it comes to new and awesomeness foodie places. The dude behind Freedom Café is Neil Roake, author of cookbooks such as Life's a Beach Cottage and Shiny Happy People. I'm told its a quirky little restaurant, tucked away down a side street in Greyville. Enjoy a meal in a bright red converted shipping container.
My next lunch date, will definately be a visit to "FREEDOM"

I just love and support giveaways. Shivani who authors My Owl Barn. She recently worked with over 30 artists to make the Owl Lover 2011 Calendar, a free calendar that you can customize and then download.
How cool is that:-
About the project Shivani says, “This calendar is the outcome of my desire to work closely with them and to create something great for all the owl lovers! When I contacted them with my idea for this owl-themed calendar, not only did I receive the custom made wonderful owl art work, but also words of encouragement and best wishes which kept me going. All the beautiful art in this calendar will warm any owl lover’s heart. As beautiful as it is – you can still improve the calendar by customizing it, and picking and choosing the images that you love the most. Yes, that’s right, there are a lot more than 12 images for to choose from, so you can browse through our gallery, and select the ones that you love the most.” Pin It Now!

I figured that since I'm launching my new "Play" line on Saturday, that I'd give away a Dress (randomly) to all the peops out there that are following my blog. So a Caroline dress is up for grabs and for those that dont have littlies, a set of bright pillowcases. All you need to do is follow my blog. Competition ends on the 01 Dec 2010.

Plastic Bag Holder
Posted by
Lun@tic
Now that we have been forced to buy bags (I know for a while now), I'm sure most households are like mine, plastic packet after plastic packet - why not make a few cute ones with Sew 4 Home’s free tutorial. Keep one for your own kitchen (or laundry room) then give the others to those people who only like practical gifts….like Mom’s and your best mate down the road.
